In-Person Services and Policies
Advising Days, Hours, and Location – Summer 2026
Kaplan Hall 158/160
Monday – Thursday*
9 am – 12 noon; 1 pm – 4 pm
No appointment necessary—we offer drop-in advising on a first-come, first-served basis.
*Please note that our on-campus office is closed on Fridays during the Summer. We remain available virtually (see below) on Summer Fridays.
Advisor Availability & Accommodations for Special Circumstances
Our advisors alternate on-campus days:
Steph Bundy is on-campus Tue/Wed in the Summer.
Diana Laguna is on-campus Mon/Thu in the Summer.
Any member of our advising team is happy to assist you.
Typically, our advisors serve students during our posted business hours. However, we encourage you to contact us if you are in need of an alternate meeting time due to your work schedule, dependent care schedule, or other unique scheduling constraints.
If you are a parenting student, please know that children are welcome in our physical and virtual offices.

Online Messaging or Phone Inquiries
Students should contact us through MyUCLA MessageCenter (Academic counseling unit: English) or by calling 310.825.3927. Please note that phone hours are Mon – Fri, 9 am to 4 pm Pacific Time.
Zoom Sessions by Appointment
Students may book a 15-minute Zoom appointment with an advisor via MyUCLA.
Students desiring a 30-minute appointment for special circumstances (double major petition assistance, departmental evaluation, returning to UCLA after an absence) may book a longer appointment here.
